Dicalcium Phosphate serves as a nutritional source of calcium and phosphorus in foods, beverages and dietary supplement products. It may be used as a source of heat-triggered acidity for leavening, and as a whitening agent to replace titanium dioxide. This ingredient also fortifies nutritional drinks, vitamin premixes, and triturations. Similar to other ingredients in this category, Tricalcium Phosphate is used as a calcium and phosphorus mineral supplement in foods and beverages, as well as an anticaking agent.
