Innophos To Showcase “Solutions For Plant-Based Meat Substitutes” At IFT22

CRANBURY, N.J.  -- Innophos, a global leader of specialty ingredient solutions that deliver far-reaching, versatile benefits for the food, health, and nutrition markets, announced today that it will return as a presenter at the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) Annual Event and Expo from July 11 – 13, 2022 at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago, IL. IFT22 is one of the largest events of its kind bringing together thousands of attendees, including scientists, food professionals and exhibiting companies from around the globe.

Innophos will feature science-backed phosphate technology solutions that address manufacturer needs when formulating plant-based meat substitute products. Songwei, a member of the Innophos R&D team since 2015, has led the development of new solutions addressing key food industry needs such as reducing sodium, moving towards a cleaner label and formulating with plant-based proteins. The Innophos presentation will offer insights on topics including:

  • Consumer trends and how Gen Z is driving change in the plant-based space
