Innophos to Provide Insights & Expertise at IFT First 24

Clean Label Insights
Innophos Scientist Paige Neher will present on gaining a competitive edge in the baking industry with LEVAIR® Select, an innovative, non-aluminum-based leavening technology. This new solution not only ensures optimal dough rise and texture but also offers reduced sodium and added calcium. Join Neher at the Business First stage for “A Clean-Label Alternative to Sodium Aluminum Phosphate (SALP) for Today’s Bakeries” on Tuesday, July 16, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. She will address evolving consumer preferences and regulatory requirements, highlighting how bakeries can differentiate their products with a non-aluminum-based alternative to SALP.
Science in Sustainability
Karen Winkowski, PhD, Vice President of Innovation for Innophos, will co-moderate a panel designed to give attendees greater insight into how science is contributing to sustainable food production. Join Dr. Winkowski and a panel of industry experts on Tuesday, July 16, from 1:15 – 2:30 p.m. in room S402 for "What Scientific Advancements Are Leading the Way in Sustainable Food Production?" This important discussion will cover a range of topics including reducing food waste and greenhouse gas emissions.
Food Safety Solutions
Join Erhan Yildiz, PhD, Innophos’ Senior Manager of Food & Beverage R&D, as he provides his expertise to the food safety panel, “What Risks Do Chemical Contaminants in Food Pose and How Can Science-Based Strategies Address and Mitigate Them?,” scheduled for Tuesday, July 16, from 10:45 a.m. – 12 noon in room S403. Dr. Yildiz will be discussing calcium phosphate as an alternative to titanium dioxide in a variety of food applications—including frostings, candies, chocolates, gummies, fresh cheeses, and baked goods.
